Hey, everyone! I know it's been quite a while since there's been any updates, and I'm sorry for that. We didn't have internet at home. However, I'm esctatic to say that.....DAXTER IS OFFICIALLY IN REMISSION!!! My baby is healthy even compared to normal kids now. He is running all over the house and starting to talk and letting us know that it's about time to start potty training. He's eighteen months old and developmentally on track. Daxter's even in the 93 percentile for height and weight compared to other kids his age. Plus, he has grown about two inches of BLONDE hair! There is a slight bone defect under his left eye caused from when he had cancer so he'll need to start seeing an eye specialist to make sure it heals alright. Daxter will also still regularly see his oncologist and will regularly have scans to make sure nothing is coming back. Daxter is living proof that God is in control! Thank you all for all of the support and love you sent our way; I am absolutely positive that it helped. There's no way I can adequately tell you how much your prayers and thoughts meant to my family and me. They were and are priceless.
Love always
Bailey

No Living Tumors
Daxter has NO LIVING TUMORS that they can see on scans at this moment. The doctor is doing three more rounds of chemo to make sure nothing is hiding. He will then do more scans, and if there are still no living tumors...Daxter will be declared CANCER FREE!!
He's not quite there yet....but he's very close. It is nothing short of a miracle. Praising God everyday for this blessing. Round 1 of chemo is done, two more to go...
Hopefully the next post will be a cancer free post...

Another Round
Daxter has been doing just wonderful! He is gaining weight and starting to catch back up developmentally from his long hospital stay in October/November. He finished another round of chemo about two weeks ago and so far he is doing wonderful with it. After this round of chemo there will be new scans done...and we are praying for a CANCER FREE result. Please keep Daxter in prayers.

I know its been a long time
We apologize for the lack of updates on the blog over the last few weeks. Honestly until now there hasn't been a lot to post. The holiday's were busy for everyone and Daxter was doing very well.
Daxter was admitted for a short stay on Christmas day because of another staph infection. This has seemed to become common during chemo. He was dismissed on new years eve doing well.
He started his fourth round of chemo last week and unfortnatly he isn't doing very well with it. He has been having nonstop diaherra and vommitting and was very dehydrated. He also passed a gallstone. He has been extremely fussy and irritable. Bailey and Grandma haven't gotten much sleep this hospital stay. He hasn't able to eat anything at all for several days now. They are going to try to feed him an ounce every three hours today to see if he can keep it down. If he can't they will have to try other methods to keep him nourshied like a feeding tube.
Please keep Daxter in your prayers, this round of chemo is hitting him especially hard for some reason. Please also pray for Ben, Bailey, Debbie and the family because they are getting little rest and are hurting watching their baby boy in pain.
I will keep you updated as much as I can.
