Just some quick Notes

Hey everyone, its Kristin writing. I will write from time to time when Bailey and Ben need to get out updates and can't write or I want to share fundraiser information. For those of you who don't know,  I am visiting them twice a day and trying to meet their needs so they only have to concentrate on Daxter. I am also answering questions, heading fundraising stuff, and updating you when they can't.

Bailey and I talked just a bit ago on the phone and she asked me to post a few things.:
1.) That starting tomorrow morning, they are asking for no visitors in the room with Daxter. He will start chemo tomorrow and they want to minimize his exposure to any outside illness. Visitors are welcome to go to the hospital and see the family and Ben and Bailey will be ocassionally coming out to talk. They just are asking for the next 48 -72 hours that no one visits Daxter. I am sure you will understand how important this is. I will not even be going into Daxter's room as of tomorrow and will do my visits in the waiting room. Thank you for your visits and love.

2) Daxter's eye has stopped dialating and they believe the tumor behind his nerve has grown into the optical nerve area. They will be seeing a eye specialist sometime today about the possibility of removing the tumor because of this. They are asking for specific prayers for this situation.

Praises:
1) Daxter is off morphine
2) They did not have to sedate him like orginally thought
3)That he is under 1 because this cancer is better treated under 1 year
4) For all the love and support they've gotten

Prayers:
1) Daxter's electrolytes/sodium levels
2) Guidance for the doctor's on the eye tumor
3) chemo preperation

Lastly, I wanted to share because I have gotten so many emails and messages on facebook asking. Yes, we are gearing up to do some fundraisers for the family. We are in the process of accessing their needs and organizing ourselves to better meet their needs. We have many ideas and will be sharing that information shortly. Please send all donations to the sidebar addresses. Baily, Ben, Daxter, and their family as well as myself and all the members of First Freewill Baptist Church of Wellington thank you all for you love and support of this precious family.

All questions, concerns, comments, ideas, etc. can be left here or can be emailed to me at Katcdh@yahoo.com

Thank you all for your overwhelming response on facebook and this blog. Please continue to pray and spread the word. We have faith in the Lord, our God who knows Daxter better then any of us.

In Him Always,
Kristin
